Haggard ID Wiper, Inc. was founded in 1979 with the purpose of providing a tool that would help decrease drilling costs, improve rig safety and assist in environmental protection. The Haggard Mud Dog is the ONLY inside wiper that is patented and leads the industry in performance and durability. The “Mud Dog” inside drill pipe wiper is pump down safe, retrievable, and can be circulated around at up to 6 bpm with little or no pump pressure increase. The Mud Dog will work in any drilling or completion fluid available in the industry today. The Mud Dog is available in tubing and drill pipe sizes from 2 inch to 6 5/8 inch drill pipe and can be dressed to work in split strings(e.g. 5 1/2” to 3”), without having to change the configuration of the tool. No special tools are required to service the units. The Mud Dog is a rental item only with several leasing options available. Haggard ID Wiper has representatives located around the world to meet your most demanding needs. For domestic use it is $35.00/day and international rates run $45.00/day. Spare part kits are available for usage in remote locations. We also offer a Pee Wee overshot specifically designed to be used with the Mud Dog. If you need to run the rabbit before tripping, the Mud Dog can do that and wipe the pipe at the same time.
